SAM HEYDT is a New York City based artist specializing in film-making, interior design, commercial photography and fine art . From completely renovating the interior of a four story townhouse in Gramercy to launching a professional photo studio in the Meat-packing district, the versatility of her skill-set has allowed to her work on a spectrum of projects in different disciplines and fields. Commercially, she has shot for a multitude of publications, her bevy of clients includes but is not limited to: W Magazine, VMag, Photo and Vice. As a fine art photographer, her work has been internationally exhibited twice in the State Hermitage Museum in St. Petersburg, as well as in a constellation of galleries and museums throughout the United States, Europe and Russia. In the Fall of 2012, she was inducted into MoMa’s elite foundation of artists: “The Contemporaries”, exhibiting shortly after at Miami Art Basel as one of the youngest female photographers. Heydt has been invited to attend artist residencies around the world in Australia, New Zealand, Turkey and Iceland, which she is where she can be found at the moment.
